Foundational Material
The teachings for this online class are based on The Methods & Theory of Traditional Self-Cultivation, a new book by Dr. Pang Ming, the founder of Zhineng Qigong.
Published in Chinese in 2016, this book reveals specific methods and levels toward awakening your consciousness – a process also known as attaining enlightenment.
He also shares insights on Daoist, Confucian, Buddhist, and Traditional Chinese Medicine perspectives. Regardless of your starting point, Dr. Pang sees the potential for higher consciousness in everyone.
Dr. Pang wrote the calligraphy passage for the book, translated by Teacher Wei: “Only those who work toward the wholeness and wellbeing of humanity in this age can truly awaken and flourish.”

Your primary guide on this remarkable journey is Wei Qifeng, a master teacher in Zhineng Qigong who studied directly with Dr. Pang. Over the course of 96 hours of live online classes, Teacher Wei will take you step by step through key aspects of the book, illuminating the sections on Qi Science and Heart Science.
Theory
Qi Science covers introductory and advanced concepts of what qi is, its relationship to higher consciousness, its applications in various traditions, and its role in healing and transformation. Heart Science covers philosophical, historical, and practical elements, including the meaning, experience, stages, mechanisms, and methods for the awakening process. The heart, with its special quality of qi, plays a central role. The process of personal awakening is intertwined with collective awakening, with each individual enriching and strengthening the global consciousness field.
Practice
Teacher Wei will also guide methods for directly experiencing higher states of consciousness, to come to know Mingjue – the Awakened Self, as well as the tian ren he yi state (an energy state of oneness with the universe). He will share key 5-minute video clips of Dr. Pang from the original master training classes in China, another means to receive high-level information in an awakened state. The methods will also include dynamic movements, like spine forms and Taiji balls.
Group practices & support
In addition to the monthly live sessions with Teacher Wei, global organizers will provide interim opportunities for smaller group practices and personalized support. You will also have access to class recordings for self-review and self-practice.

Please note there are no live classes with Teacher Wei in May, August and October, but practices with your organizer will continue.
All livestream online sessions are held via Zoom twice daily to accommodate our global community:

You can choose the optimal time for you, or join both sessions. The general content is the same, but since Teacher Wei teaches from a pure consciousness state, the sessions do vary.
Both sessions will be recorded and accessible to all participants.
Our international organizers will translate from English into various languages.
Certifications
Certificate of Completion
Participants who complete the course can receive Certificate of Completion. Please contact your Organizer for more details. This certificate is included in the course fee.
Mingjue Teacher Certificate
Successful candidates who have demonstrated knowledge of the theory and practice of the course material, including an ability to teach the methods can receive a Teacher’s Certificate. Please contact your organizer for more details and see below for the added certification fee.

Can I just purchase recordings of live classes with Teacher Wei?
Yes. They are the same price as the standard course fee.
Can I join after the class has already begun?
Yes. You are welcome to join at any point during the year. The full payment for the course fee is still required, and you’ll receive full access to recordings for any missed classes
